To make the students proficient in the programming field and make them more interested in the field of Information Technology, Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN) & Chittagong Independent University (CIU) jointly organized a Grace Hopper Girls Programming Camp. It was a two-day-long camp and the event took place on the premises of Chittagong Independent University, Chattogram on 26th and 27th of the month of November 2021. A total number of 35 students participated in this event.
The first and foremost step to achieve a dream job is to prepare a resume that would apprehend the attention of the interviewer. A resume is a reflection of our personality. Many of us don’t know the basic regulations of resume writing. Most of us fail on this platform and still wonder why.
Emphasizing this issue, Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN) organized this free online workshop ”Electrifying your strategy to land the Dream Job” on Saturday, 27th November 2021 to exhibit the university girls to make them skilled to develop their resumes.
এডুকেশনাল চ্যারিটেবল এন্ড হিউম্যানিটেরিয়ান অর্গানাইজেশন (ইকো) এবং বাংলাদেশ ওপেন সোর্স নেটওয়ার্ক (বিডিওএসএন) মেয়ে শিক্ষার্থীদের কোডিং শেখানোর জন্য একটি প্রকল্প গ্রহণ করেছে। ঢাকার বনানীতে ইকো বাংলাদেশের অফিসে এই বিষয়ে একটি চুক্তি স্বাক্ষর অনুষ্ঠান হয়েছে।
আপনি যদি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, কলেজ, টেকনিক্যাল ইন্সটিটিউট বা সমমানের প্রতিষ্ঠানের শিক্ষার্থী অথবা স্বেচ্ছাসেবক হিসেবে কাজ করতে ইচ্ছুক পেশাজীবী হন,তাহলে স্বেচ্ছাসেবক হিসেবে আপনি যোগ দিতে পারেন বাংলাদেশ ওপেনসোর্স নেটওয়ার্ক (বিডিওএসএন)-এ। মূলত এইচএসসি পাশ করেছে, এমন যে কেউ বিডিওএসএনএ স্বেচ্ছাসেবক হিসেবে যোগ দিতে পারবে।
স্বেচ্ছাসেবকেরা এখানে ওপেন সোর্স এবং ওপেন কন্টেন্ট এর ধারণা কাজে লাগিয়ে ব্যক্তি, গোষ্ঠী, প্রতিষ্ঠান, সংস্থা, সমিতি এবং সরকারের দক্ষতা এবং যোগ্যতা বৃদ্ধিতে সহযোগিতা করবে। তথ্য ও প্রযুক্তিভিত্তিক ক্যাম্প, কর্মশালা ও আয়োজনে প্রশিক্ষক ও রিসোর্স পার্সন হিসেবে কাজ করবে।
২০ নভেম্বর শনিবার ঢাকার ড্যাফোডিল এডুকেশন নেটওয়ার্ক বিল্ডিং-এ উদযাপিত হল আন্তর্জাতিক নারী উদ্যোক্তা দিবস ২০২১। বাংলাদেশ ওপেন সোর্স নেটওয়ার্ক (বিডিওএসএন)-এর উদ্যোক্তা বিষয়ক কার্যক্রম চাকরি খুঁজব না চাকরি দেব, ড্যাফোডিল ইন্টারন্যাশনাল ইউনিভার্সিটির ইনোভেশন এন্ড অন্ট্রাপ্রেনিউরশিপ ডিপার্টমেন্ট ও উদ্যমী নারীদের নেটওয়ার্ক সাহসিকার আয়োজনে এবং এফএম প্লাস্টিক ইন্ডাস্ট্রিজ লিমিটেড এর পৃষ্ঠপোষকতায় এই আয়োজন অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।
