On 16th July 2023, Science and Mathematics sessions were conducted at Shiria Begum Secondary Girls' School, Mongla, under the STEM & ICT Skills for the Girls of Coastal Area (SISGCA) project funded by Malala Fund in association with BdOSN. 30 students from classes 6 to 8 participated actively in these sessions.
On 16th July 2023, Science and Mathematics sessions were conducted at Bara Katali Secondary School, Rampal, Bagerhat, under the STEM & ICT Skills for the Girls of Coastal Area (SISGCA) project funded by Malala Fund in association with BdOSN. 54 students (38 female and 16 male) from classes 6 to 8 participated actively in these sessions.
On 19th July 2023, Science 2 and Programming -1 sessions were organized for the students of Comrade Ratan Sen Collegiate Girls' School, Rupsa Upazila, under the STEM & ICT Skills for the Girls of Coastal Area (SISGCA) project funded by Malala Fund in association with BdOSN. 110 students from classes 6 to 8 participated actively in these sessions.
On 19th July 2023, Science 2 and Programming -1 sessions were organized for the students of Naihati Secondary Girls School of Rupsa Upazila, khulna under the STEM & ICT Skills for the Girls of Coastal Area (SISGCA) project funded by Malala Fund in association with BdOSN. 40 students from classes 6 to 8 participated actively in these sessions.
On 17th July 2023, Science and Mathematics sessions were conducted at Shaheed Ali Ahmed Govt Girls High School, Tala, Satkhira, under the STEM & ICT Skills for the Girls of Coastal Area (SISGCA) project funded by Malala Fund in association with BdOSN. 68 students from classes 6 to 8 participated actively in these sessions.
A workshop on Safeguarding was held on 16th June at Bangladesh Education Research & Entrepreneurship Development Trust (BdERED)'s office. The theme was 'Safeguarding for a better workplace' under the STEM & ICT Skills for the Girls of Coastal Area (SISGCA) project funded by Malala Fund in association with BdOSN.
A curriculum development workshop has been held on the 9th and 10th of June at the BdoSN office. In the two-day-long workshop, relevant subject matter experts provided their inputs, insights, and feedback on the draft training content developed by the academic team members of BdOSN and its other initiatives like- Mathematics Olympiad, Children Science Congress, Bangladesh Robot Olympiad, World Robot Olympiad, SCRATCH programming team.
Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN) and JaduPc Ltd have recently inked a game-changing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on groundbreaking initiatives in the realm of open source technologies and education.
