Bangladesh Joins the Global “Kangaroo Math” Movement!

Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN) proudly announces that Bangladesh has officially joined the global mathematics movement — Association Kangourou Sans Frontières (AKSF), the world’s largest math learning initiative!

Starting from April 2026, Bangladeshi students will participate in the Math Kangaroo challenge- a joyful, inspiring way to learn mathematics together with millions of students around the world.

Unlike traditional Olympiads, Kangaroo Math is a unique initiative that aims not to find champions but to spark a love for mathematics and nurture a generation skilled in creative problem-solving. In 2025, over 6.5 million students from 90+ countries took the same test on this global platform!

What makes it even more exciting is its flexible format—students don’t have to go to an exam center; the test comes to them! The competition is held in six categories, from Grade 1 to Grade 12.

Next year, BdOSN is going to implement this initiative across 10 districts in Bangladesh.
