The national round of the International Robot Olympiad (IRO) Bangladesh Open 2025 was held at the University of Asia Pacific (UAP) in Dhaka on September 12–13, showcasing the creativity and innovation of young robotics enthusiasts from across the country.
A training workshop on scratch programming was held with the participation of a total of 226 teachers of Sadar Upazila at Gopalganj Sadar Upazila Parishad Auditorium in two phases. One ICT teacher each from 113 government primary schools participated in each phase of the workshop held on July 5-6 in the first phase and July 12-13 in the second phase.
On 8th July 2023, programming and Science sessions were conducted at Comrade Ratan Sen Collegiate Girls' School, Rupsha, Khulna under the STEM & ICT Skills for the Girls of Coastal Area (SISGCA) project funded by Malala Fund in association with BdOSN. 50 female students from classes 6 to 8 participated actively in these sessions.
On 8th July 2023, programming and Science sessions were conducted at Naihati Secondary Girls' School, Rupsha, under the STEM & ICT Skills for the Girls of Coastal Area (SISGCA) project funded by Malala Fund in association with BdOSN. 40 female students from classes 6 to 8 participated actively in these sessions.
On 7th July 2023, programming and Science sessions were conducted at Shaheed Kamel Model High School, Tala, Satkhira, under the STEM & ICT Skills for the Girls of Coastal Area (SISGCA) project funded by Malala Fund in association with BdOSN. 42 students from classes 6 to 8 participated actively in these sessions.
