Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN) organized an online Networking Activity session titled 'Face the Recruiter' on July 31, 2022. It was assembled under the ESDG4Bd project of BdOSN.
On 29th June, 2022 Bangladesh Open Source Network organized an ICT Camp - Basic IoT & Robotics Workshop to train the participants with both basic and advanced levels of robotics, IoT, familiarization with tools and software and to provide enough knowledge to make the participant capable enough to design and build their own robotics projects and to make the participants familiar with the fundamentals of IoT, Arduino, JRC Board, Modules, basic electronic equipment, etc. It was a day-long camp.
On 30th June 2022, Bangladesh Open Source Network organized an ICT Camp - Training on Drone Assembly & Programming Workshop to train the participants with both basic and advanced levels of drone operation, IoT, familiarization with tools and software and to provide enough knowledge to make the participant capable enough to design and build their own drone projects and to make the participants familiar with the fundamentals of different drone parts, IoT, Arduino, JRC Board, Modules, basic electronic equipment, etc. It was a day-long camp.
Before pursuing higher education at dream University of aspiring country, it is a mandatory to have a crystal clear concept of the destination. Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN) is giving this privilege to the Bangladeshi aspirated graduates and those who are planning to go for Bachelors in abroad.
"আনিসুল হক কোহর্ট ফর গ্রোথ অফ উইমেন অন্ট্রোপ্রেইনারশিপ" প্রকল্পের আওতায় রাজধানীতে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে আনিসুল হক কোহর্ট উদ্যোক্তা হাট। গত ২৮ জুন সকালে ধানমন্ডির মাইডাস সেন্টারে উদ্যোক্তা হাট উদ্বোধন করেন নিজ ক্ষেত্রে প্রসংশিত চারজন নারী। বিকালে হাট পরিদর্শন করেন আনিসুল হক ফাউন্ডেশনের ফাউন্ডার প্রেসিডেন্ট ও এশিয়ান ইউনিভার্সিটি ফর উইমেন এর ভাইস চ্যান্সেলর ড. রুবানা হক।নারী উদ্যোক্তাদের কাজের সক্ষমতা তৈরি, নেটওয়ার্ক সম্প্রসারণ, পরামর্শ প্রদান এবং স্থানীয় ও বৈশ্বিক বাজারের সঙ্গে সংযোগের সুযোগ করে দেওয়া হাটের উদ্দেশ্য। হাটে উদ্যোক্তারা তাঁদের পণ্য ও সেবা প্রদর্শন করেছেন।
আত্মকর্মসংস্থানে নারীর অংশগ্রহণ দিন দিন বাড়ছে। উদ্যোক্তা হিসেবে ক্যারিয়ার তৈরীতে নারীর ইতিবাচক আগ্রহ দেখা যায়। কিন্তু নারী হিসেবে ব্যবসাকে এগিয়ে নিয়ে যেতে পড়তে হয় নানা প্রতিবন্ধকতার মধ্যে। এর মাঝে সবচেয়ে বেশী যে সমস্যা নারী উদ্যোক্তাদের বিচলিত করে তা হল প্রয়োজনীয় ও সঠিক ধারণা ও তথ্য পাওয়া। বিশেষ করে প্রয়োজনীয় কাগজপত্র তৈরী, কর প্রদান, ব্যাংক লোন বা সরকারি সহায়তা পাওয়ার সম্ভাবনা এমন নানা বিষয়ে পিছিয়ে পড়েন নারী উদ্যোক্তারা। এ সমস্যাকে কিছুটা লাঘব করতে ৩৫ জন নারী উদ্যোক্তাকে মেন্টরশিপ প্রদান করে বাংলাদেশ ওপেন সোর্স নেটওয়ার্ক (বিডিওএসএন)।
"আনিসুল হক কোহর্ট ফর গ্রোথ অফ উইমেন অন্টপ্রেনিউরস" প্রকল্পের আওতায় রাজধানীতে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে আনিসুল হক কোহর্ট উদ্যোক্তা হাট। গত ২৮ জুন সকালে ধানমন্ডির মাইডাস সেন্টারে উদ্যোক্তা হাট উদ্বোধন করেন নিজ ক্ষেত্রে প্রসংশিত চারজন নারী। বিকালে হাট পরিদর্শন করেন আনিসুল হক ফাউন্ডেশনের ফাউন্ডার প্রেসিডেন্ট ও এশিয়ান ইউনিভার্সিটি ফর উইমেন এর ভাইস চ্যান্সেলর ড. রুবানা হক। বিকেলে মেলা ঘুরে আনিসুল হক ফাউন্ডেশনের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা রুবানা হক বলেন, এখানে আসা উদ্যোক্তাদের কাজ দেখে মনে হলো, তাঁদের অনেক চেষ্টা আছে। তবে পণ্যের রং, নকশা ও ফিনিশিংয়ে আরও উন্নতি করতে হবে; তা না হলে সম্ভাবনাময় এসব পণ্য গ্রাহক পর্যায়ে ভালো সাড়া পাবে না, দেশের বাইরেও রপ্তানি করা সম্ভব হবে না। এ জন্য এই উদ্যোক্তাদের ভালো নকশাকারকদের দিয়ে প্রশিক্ষণ দেওয়ার পরামর্শ দেন তিনি।

This is why Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN) organized an ICT camp on Basic IoT and Robotics for the female students of Central Women’s University on 26th June 2022.
Student life is the golden time to prepare for the future job market and we have observed that most of the Bangladeshi job seekers start preparing for job when he/she supposed to pursue her/his dream job after completing study. This is why, Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN) organized a hands on job preparation workshop for the female students of Central Women’s University on 27th June 2022. This was an initiative under ESDG4BD project. It was facilitated by Aklima Yesmin, General Manager, HR & Administration, R-Pak International.
